July 26 - 30 |HP hosts Dressage Clinic High Point welcomes Paula Dean from Little Rock, Arkansas, and seven of her students, who will be attending a week-long clinic conducted by Cindy Thaxton. Although the students will be stabling their mounts at the Riding Academy, lessons will be held late afternoon in the Indoor Facility. As always, auditors are welcome!

He was pumping adrenaline through the roof, but exuded beautiful brilliance. Jess was able to manage the movements, but with obvious tension. Had she been able to find an ounce of relaxation, she would have busted all over 70 percent. As it was, their total score was 60.211%, which is great for a second CDI. It's worth mentioning that, of the 22 competitors, Jessica was the second youngest, with most riders being seasoned veterans in their 40s. Congratulations, Jess, Ray, Cindy and Alexander! Bayamón (July 25, 2010) -The rider Marco Bernal and his horse Farewell IV insured the Colombian victory in the individual dressage competition with a 71.526% Intermediare I level. Yvonne Losos, from Dominican Republic and Antonio Rivera from Mexico achieved the silver and bronze medal with 70.737% v 69.053 percent. Luis Denizard from Puerto Rico won the seventh place with a 67.000% punctuation. Janet Foy, plays dressage, she emphasized that the first three pairs were almost perfect. "All horses were in optimal conditions and they benefited from the excelent track condition", said Froy. High Point Welcomes Angelica and Sand River We congratulate Xan Taft and Monica Manning on their new partnerships. Monica is shown immediately below with Angelica, a 1998 Danish Warmblood, out of Ilia by Andiamo.
Xan has recently leased Sand River, a 10-year old Thoroughbred, owned by Shelby Bradley. They are shown preparing for their first competition together, the GHF Summer Dressage Show, July 31-August 1.
