Isabelle
Isabelle is a journalist, author and amateur trainer with the highest qualification of the German Riding Federation FN. She is also a national judge and dressage rider. Her special interest is teaching dressage to students of all ages and levels of experience.
Isabelle has been working for the publisher of the German FN for many years. She wrote the most successful German book for young people about horses as well as a book for adult beginners. Isabelle was instrumental in develping a new edition of the famous German book,  The Principles of Riding, based on the training scale. She has collaborated on several projects with her cousin Susanne von Dietze, author of the famous book Balance in Movement. She has directed several films, including the Balance in Movement DVD.Isabelle
Her latest achievement is a book, co-authored with Susanne von Dietze, about back-friendly riding, featuring Felicitas on the cover. It is scheduled to be translated into English and published by Trafalgar Square Press by the end of 2010. Her book explains how classical riding provides very helpful ideas for training the rider’s back, IF the rider uses light aids and the skills of her own body to find the best way to achieve her training goals. She and Susanne also plan to videotape Felicitas for an accompanying DVD.
Several years ago, Isabelle began to work with Felicitas’ clients at First Choice Farms and has enjoyed  the opportunity to share their combined knowledge of dressage. She specializes on the seat, which helps riders improve not only their position while riding, but also the effectiveness of specific aids and their overall influence on the horse. She is well known in Germany for this type of work, where she conducts many clinics and trains FN-trainers.
In addition to dressage, Isabelle has a special interest in theater performances. She critiques ballet dancing and modern choreography. Her opportunity to see and analyze many interesting movements is the key to understanding the individual system of each human body.
