HP congratulates all its competitors for their excellent showing Saturday. Wendi had a particularly challenging day; she competed three horses [Ovation, Chapman and Hermoso] in a variety of tests. Special kudos to Zanne, whose 3rd Level Test 3 on Konsalik received a 2nd place finish score of 64.418. Arlene, on a "very steady" Ovation, received 62.895% on 1st Level Test 4, with an 8 on quality of canter and trot and a 7 on gaits. Images of these competitors will be posted later in the week. For now, though, we'd like to give very special recognition to Jessica Thaxton and Katie Crump, who took their seasoned hunters to their first dressage show! Katie[ below] competed Caletto at 1st Level Test 4 [64.211] and at 2nd Level Test 1 [60.526]. The judge considered Caletto a "very steady harmonic horse". Jess [below, right] rode Phoenix to 60+% scores in 2nd Level Tests 3 & 4.
